Will this work with my phone if I don't have a MagSafe iPhone?
Yes. iPhone 12 and up connect natively with no extra parts, but for iPhone 8-11 and all Android phones you just stick the included adhesive Metal ring to the back of the phone or its case to enable magnetic attachment.
Can I use it to mount my tablet?
Not with a single unit. A tablet's weight needs two EDGE® Pro Cores, two adhesive Metal rings or discs, and two Metal plates, since one Core is built for phone use only.
Does it charge my phone?
No, the Core itself doesn't charge devices. It can connect to the separate EDGE® Pro Wireless Charger module to add that function, and the included Metal ring is Qi charging compatible.
Will it damage my laptop or leave residue when I remove it?
No. The Metal plate uses a Nano suction adhesive layer designed for clean removal, and the included plate remover tool lets you take it off safely without marking the surface.
What's actually in the box?
You get 1 EDGE® Pro Core, 1 Magnetic disc, 1 Metal plate, 2 Metal discs, 1 Metal ring, 2 Nano suction layers (one for the plate, one for the disc), and a plate remover tool. Packaging is eco-friendly.
Can I stick the Metal ring on my phone case instead of the phone itself?
Yes, as long as the case surface is flat. The ring works whether it's applied directly to the phone or to the case.
Does it work in both portrait and landscape mode?
Yes, its hinge lets you adjust the inclination of any attached module or device in both portrait and landscape orientation.
Can I use it for video calls or as a webcam setup?
Yes, it supports Apple Continuity Camera, so you can mount your iPhone and use it as a webcam with a MacBook. It also supports Apple Sidecar for using an iPad as a second display.
How sturdy is it, will it hold my phone securely?
It's built to hold firmly: a CNC machined aluminium unibody with an array of 30 N52 magnets and 4 ultra gripping layers on the front and back surfaces.
What if it stops working?
